Toy Fair 2026 is just around the corner, meaning a lot of companies are gearing up to reveal new toys and figures hitting shelves in 2026 and beyond. IGN can offer an exclusive first look at the newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles offerings from Super7.

With the TMNT Ultimates line, Super7 has shifted from releasing figures inspired by the classic '80s TMNT toys to focusing on the 2003 animated series. Fans can expect three new 7-inch-scale figures in the next Ultimates wave - Raphael (Road Gear), April O'Neil, and Hun. All three figures are designed to be compatible with a Shell Cycle vehicle and will come with interchangeable helmeted heads.

The TMNT Ultimates figures are priced at $65 each, while the Shell Cycle is $150.

On the Reaction+ front, this marks the first time Super7 will include the TMNT franchise in that long-running line of retro-style figures. Like all Reaction+ figures, these toys are similar in size and style to classic G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero figures and feature similar O-ring construction. The figures are inspired by the 1987 animated series, with this first wave including Raphael, Donatello, Shredder, and a Foot Ninja.

The TMNT Reaction+ figures are priced at $25 each.

HBO's Game of Thrones prequel, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, has quickly become one of this year's best shows. Thanks to its heavier focus on levity and wholesome moments (it's not without its predecessor's violent moments, though), interest in the show's source material has skyrocketed since it premiered in January.

The Hedge Knight graphic novel adaptation, the first of George R.R. Martin's three Dunk and Egg short stories, is currently sitting at #3 on Amazon's Comics and Graphic Novels charts, even outselling Absolute Batman Vol. 1. The second book, The Sworn Sword, is at #7, while The Mystery Knight has yet to break the top 100.

Netflix will release a recorded version of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, the franchise's live stage show which includes important backstory for Henry Creel.

As reported by Collider, Netflix is expected to film the show this week with its original Broadway cast. A release date for the filmed version has not yet been announced.

Fans have recognized Stranger Things: The First Shadow as an important chapter of lore within the franchise, as it answers questions about Henry Creel, AKA the series' key villain Vecna, that some had expected from its divisive finale — and then from within the series' phantom extra episode that some fans incorrectly believed would follow.

A prequel to the main Stranger Things TV series, set during Henry Creel's teenage years, The First Shadow shows the growth of Creel's psychokinetic powers and finally reveals their true origin. Audiences also get to see the proto-villain at school with some other familiar faces, Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers (then Maldonado).

For fans, The First Shadow is a key part of the main series' story, so it makes sense that Netflix is now filming it for a wider audience who can't easily get to its Broadway or West End productions. Will its lore also help calm those who still feel the TV series' final episode (and wider final season) didn't do everything they wanted? Well, that remains to be seen.

The First Shadow originally launched in London in 2023, several years before Stranger Things ended, but was always planned to tell a story that dovetailed into the main show. Its script was written by series writer Kate Trefrey, who worked on the plot with Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer, as well as Adolescence and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child writer Jack Thorne.

The play also features the character of Dr. Martin "Papa" Brenner, whose TV actor Matthew Modine recently said he disliked the series' finale and hoped "for the fans" that the conspiracy theory around a secret final-final episode was actually true. (It is not.)

"Stranger Things was a generational event that barreled into a series finale with almost impossible expectations surrounding it," IGN wrote in our review of the Stranger Things series finale. "The Duffers certainly evolved into the successful blockbuster directors they so admired in their childhoods, but their enduring legacy will be mostly doing right by a cast of characters who beguiled the globe."

While the main series may have ended, there's still plenty more Stranger Things to come as well as The First Shadow. The Duffer Brothers are now working on a new live-action TV spin-off with fresh characters, and we've already got our first look at Stranger Things '85, an animated series showing further adventures with the original gang while they were younger.

Horror director Mike Flanagan is once again linking up with iconic author Stephen King for a new movie adaptation of The Mist, reports Deadline.

Based on King’s 1980 sci fi horror novella, first published in a Viking Press horror anthology in 1980, The Mist is the story of a group of survivors stuck in small-town Maine by a thick fog that’s enveloped the whole area, which conceals deadly creatures. The Mist was nominated for a number of literary awards at the time and is typically considered amongst King’s most well-regarded works. Flanagan is on deck to direct, and will write the screenplay.

The Mist was previously adapted into a movie back in 2007, starring Thomas Jane and directed by Frank Darabont, who had previously directed 1994’s The Shawshank Redemption and 1999’s The Green Mile (which were also based on Stephen King stories). It was also adapted into a short-lived, 10-episode TV series in 2017, though it was cancelled the same year it aired.

This new adaptation will join a lengthy list of existing King collaborations for Flanagan, including 2017’s Gerald’s Game, 2019’s Doctor Sleep (the sequel to The Shining), and 2024’s The Life of Chuck. Flanagan is also working on an eight-episode TV adaptation of Carrie for Prime Video. King’s first published novel, Carrie has previously been adapted into film on three separate occasions.

Flanagan is also currently leading a new Exorcist movie project, which Scarlett Johansson joined late last year.

An ongoing trend at Amazon is sales that let you pick from a long list of random things. In the week leading up to Valentine's Day, Amazon is going with the “Buy one, get one 50% off” approach. The sale includes a pretty wide spread of Blu-rays and box sets as well as books, board games, and, for whatever reason, a large selection of Annie’s mac and cheese.

You can scroll through the full sale here, but if you're looking for inspiration, one of the major highlights is the number of eligible anime Blu-rays and DVDs. With Crunchyroll hiking prices and a general crackdown on the, um, old-school methods of watching anime, physical media is becoming one of the best ways to guarantee a future rewatch. It’s also just a beautiful thing to be able to line up your favorite shows and movies along a shelf.

Amazon’s BOGO(ish) Sale Includes a Ridiculous Amount of Anime

To get the deal, in theory, you just have to add two eligible items to your cart, and Amazon will automatically discount the cheaper item by 50%. The discounts will only apply when you go to check out, and in my experience, can get a little funky with what's being discounted. For example, some of the Blu-rays I picked up got 25% discounts across the board instead of an even 50% on one DVD.

The sale also doesn’t limit you to a particular category, so you can get the discount through any combination of DVDs, books, and board games. As with any sale with this many options, I’d highly recommend just doing some scrolling and directly searching for anything that’s been on your physical media wishlist.

On the anime front, you’ll find classics like the 25th Anniversary Cowboy Bebop collection, a spread of DVDs from the original Pokemon show, and complete box sets for Death Note, Nana, and Yuri!!! on Ice. In terms of more recent releases, I'd recommend the Dan Da Dan Season 1 Collector's Edition, which includes a decent amount of random merch, as well as the most recent Bleach movie, Thousand Year Blood War Part 3, which just released on Blu-ray in January.

You’ll also find tons of anime movies, including Studio Ghibli releases like Grave of the Fireflies and Kiki’s Delivery Service as well as movies directed by Satoshi Kon and Mamoru Hosoda. There’s also a heck of a lot of Digimon.

The Sale Also Includes Some Solid Cartoon Collections

Amazon happens to take the easy route and include these in the list of "anime," but it's generally worth noting you'll also find a ton of western cartoons. You could theoretically go for the Avatar double-feature with both Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra eligible for the deal. The full list also includes the complete collection of MTV’s Aeon Flux, Nickelodeon's Rugrats, and the original Transformers series, which was technically animated by Toei Animation over in Japan.

Amazon’s Spider-Noir show has narrowed its 2026 release window, while revealing it will feature an appearance by Flint Marko, a.k.a. Sandman, alongside a few other familiar faces.

New details on the live-action Spider-Verse series come from Esquire, which spoke with showrunner Oren Uziel, producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and star Nicolas Cage to learn more about how it blends black-and-white and color to tell a new Spider-Man story. Inspired by the comic book, it comes with an updated schedule that will see the show premiere this spring on MGM+ and Prime Video, while unveiling more information about some of its major characters.

While Cage’s time as Ben Reilly/The Spider will see him investigating assassination attempts against Marvel Comics villain Silvermane (played by Brendan Gleeson), a few other notable Spider-Man regulars will show up, too. One surprise appearance will see Flint Marko (played by Jack Huston) play a role as “hired muscle,” though it’s unclear if he’ll sport the powers that earned him his Sandman title. Femme fatale Cat Hardy/Black Cat (played by Li Jun Li) is another familiar name viewers can expect to see entangled in Spider-Noir’s story.

“In all the great detective stories, you have two cases that sort of come together and you realize you're actually working the same thing,” Uziel teases. “He’s a guy getting dragged into a much larger fight that he doesn't really want to be a part of. Silvermane is the big bad, but what's happening to Silvermane connects back to Ben's past and gets him spiraling deeper and deeper into his own origins.”

Cage brought black-and-white mystery and comedic relief when he played Spider-Man Noir in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It sounds like some of that portrayal will be retained in Spider-Noir, with the Pig and Raising Arizona actor teasing that his character is “70 percent Humphrey Bogart, and 30 percent Bugs Bunny.”

Meanwhile, Lord says Cage told them his version of the character is like “‘a spider trying to cosplay as a human.’”

“That's why you cast Nicolas Cage,” Miller added. “He's going to come at a character in a way that no one else would think of.”

Spider-Noir will swing onto Prime Video within the next few months but has no specific release date. It will also feature Lamorne Morris as freelance journalist Robbie Robertson and Karen Rodriguez as Ben Reilly’s secretary, Janet. New footage from CCXP25 revealed a sneak peek at the show ahead of its premiere.

Mattel's classic Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars toy line was one of the first options for Marvel collectors who craved action figures of their favorite Marvel heroes, and Hasbro is continuing to tap into the enduring nostalgia for that line in 2026. The company revealed a second wave of Secret Wars figures that will come packaged on retro-style cardbacks.

Along with the new wave of Secret Wars figures, Hasbro also showed off a two-pack of figures inspired by the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, multiple '90s-themed X-Men figures, and the latest addition to their collector-oriented Marvel Legends Maximum Series. Get a closer look at everything in the slideshow gallery below:

As with the first wave, this batch of Secret Wars figures focuses mainly on characters who featured in the original Mattel toyline and/or the Secret Wars comic. This wave includes Spider-Man (Alien Costume), Daredevil, Falcon, Magik, Constrictor, and Absorbing Man. These figures are priced at $27.99 each and will be released in Spring 2026.

Hasbro revealed a pair of new two-pack sets, one of which being the aforementioned Born Again-style Bullseye and Muse set and the other a Black Widow/Quicksilver set inspired by the early '00s Avengers comics. Each pack is priced at $55.99 and will be released in Spring 2026.

On the X-Men front, iconic '90s villain Onslaught is getting a new figure with appropriate vintage packaging, and Archangel also gets a new deluxe release with plenty of accessories. Each figure is priced at $39.99, with Archangel releasing in Spring 2026 and Onslaught in Fall 2026.

Finally, Thor is joining Hasbro's Marvel Legends Maximum Series, which focuses on more high-end releases with added accessories. This particular Thor figure depicts the Odinson in his Olivier Coipel-designed csotume from the late '00s, which should palease the many colelctors who were clamoring for a new version of that particular look.

Maximum Thor is priced at $55.99 and will be released in Spring 2026.

One Piece fans, it’s your time. The latest trailer for season 2 of Netflix's live-action adaptation TV show is here, and it’s full of fan-favorite moments.

Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are still on their search for the One Piece treasure in this new sneak peek, which sees the characters leave East Blue and start their first adventure in the Grand Line — which is fitting for the season's full title, One Piece: Into the Grand Line.

During this portion of their journey toward the treasure, they stop in Loguetown and also meet the Baroque Works, a criminal syndicate who appear to have sinister intentions for Luffy and his gang.

The new trailer also gives fans a glimpse of some really cool recognizable elements in the series that will get the TV treatment this season, like Zoro’s fight with members of the Baroque Works from the Whiskey Peak story arc, the Straw Hat Pirates getting eaten by a whale named Laboon, and Luffy’s group finding dinosaurs among the Baroque Works members they stumble upon on the Little Garden island.

The visual also highlights some new characters and actors being added in season 2, namely David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, and Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday. Mikaela Hoover will also voice Chopper, a talking reindeer who serves as a doctor in the Straw Hat Pirates.

The show is an adaptation of the 1997 manga series by Eiichiro Oda and stars Iñaki Godoy as Luffy. Season 2 of the series is set to premiere on March 10 — and Netflix has already greenlit a third season, so we’re excited to jump back into the quest.

Full spoilers follow for Primal Season 3, Episode 5, “The Dead Cast No Shadow,” which is available on Adult Swim and HBO Max now.

We’re at the halfway point of this season, and all of our main cast members are now reunited: Mira, Fang, Fang’s little ones, and of course, Spear. Or rather zombie Spear.

But look, zombie Spear is Spear deep down, even if it’s not obvious at first. And this episode is about Mira figuring that out, after their surprising reunion at the end of last week, even if it’s proving more difficult for Fang to come to terms with this new incarnation of her best friend.

Mira always sort of represented the best of the best of us, even by anachronistic pre-history standards, and so while it’s clear that she knows this is a (somewhat) revived Spear, she also seems willing to accept him for what he is now, even if he can’t quite form words or, well, sit down without some difficulty. (Also, his arm literally is falling off by episode’s end.) But, where it counts, he’s still the Spear she used to know, namely when putting himself on the line to save those he loves. That’s what got him in this whole being an undead zombie situation in the first place, after all.

And so in “The Dead Cast No Shadow,” when the threat of the week arrives – detestable baboon-type things – Spear wastes no time doing whatever he needs to in order to protect his people. This is clear in the neat moment when he has to go back and try two or three times to run up a tree in order to throw himself across to another tree branch. He gets it eventually, but he wasn’t giving up until he did (which certainly can’t be helping with the whole body falling apart situation).

As for Fang, look – who can blame the old girl for being confused and upset by this reunion? When Spear basically retells his story, in pantomime, of what’s happened since his resurrection, right down to the grasshopper funeral he performed two weeks ago, it’s sad to see how close and yet how far he is from being normal again. But it’s also a howling, disturbing freak show, so it’s no wonder that Fang would back off – and want to keep her babies away from Spear as well. Fang is an animal, don’t forget, and zombie Spear surely doesn’t have the same scent that living Spear did. He looks different too, and he’s threatening in his manner at times. Fang’s guard is up.

The close-ups of Mira and Spear as they try to reconnect are so expressive that it’s that much sadder when Spear can’t comprehend that Mira is carrying his child. When he scrawls all over her dirt drawing of a pregnant woman, it’s disappointing for Mira and the viewer, but also… what is Spear drawing exactly? It seems like it’s more than just scribbles.

By episode’s end, this family is fully reunited, if dysfunctional, with Fang still suspicious of the new Spear. But her pups love him, plopping down in his lap to cuddle – what other sign of approval do you need? – and Mira has accepted his new state, for now anyway. And yet, it still feels like things are going to come to a head between the former partners Fang and Spear…

Questions and Notes From Anachronistic History

• Pour one out for the last two members of Mira’s rescue party from her village who were big into magic and rituals, but not great at staying alive. They were primed to become the sort of Abbott and Costello of this season, but alas, they didn’t make it.
• Blueface and Redhead, aka Blue and Red Jr. – that’s what I’m calling Fang’s pups for now on, or at least until we get official names for them – are hungry all the time, and it’s hilarious.
• Spear out-hunting Fang is reminiscent of that Season 1 episode when Fang kept out-hunting Spear shortly after they met.
• Does it seem like the animals we’re encountering in Season 3 are a bit closer to modern creatures than in previous seasons?

Mondo is one step closer to assembling the full, iconic X-Men: The Animated Series roster, as the company has just revealed a truly epic Beast 1:6 scale figure.

IGN can exclusively debut the first images of the X-Men: The Animated Series - Beast 1/6 Scale Figure - Limited Edition. Check them out in the slideshow gallery below, along with a new Jim Lee X-Men poster and a Beast enamel pin:

The Beast figure is designed to fit alongside the rest of Mondo 1:6 scale X-Men figures. The figure includes a wealth of accessories, including several interchangeable heads and hands, an optional lab coat, a tech pack and tech gear, books, and even a Howard the Duck T-shirt.

Beast is priced at $255, and this deluxe limited edition version is limited to 1500 units worldwide. The figure will go up for preorder on February 17 on Mondo's website.

Also being offered alongside the figure is a new 24" x 36" screenprint poster reproducing one of the most iconic splash images from Jim Lee's X-Men run. This image is specifically taken from 1992's X-Men #11 and is titled "We Ask The Stars 'Why?'" Mondo is also releasing an enamel pin featuring Beast's face.

Amazon and Sony have confirmed that Callum Vinson will play Kratos’ son, Atreus, in the upcoming live-action God of War show.

It’s yet another casting update for the hotly anticipated series adaptation of a classic PlayStation game, this time locking in what is no doubt one of its most important roles. Vinson will join Ryan Hurst’s Kratos when the two tear their way through Norse mythology on Prime Video at an unspecified date.

Vinson has quite the resume, with shows like Chucky, Long Bright River, and Poker Face already under his belt. Beyond the projects he’s previously appeared in, audiences will also be able to catch him as a young Jason Voorhees in the upcoming Friday the 13th spinoff, Crystal Lake. His role as Atreus will see him partnered up with one of the most imposing characters in video game history, but he’ll still be able to hold his own against the creatures – and gods – he’ll almost certainly come up against.

“Atreus, the 10-year-old son of Kratos, grew up in a remote forest cabin, isolated from the rest of the world and raised almost entirely by his mother, Faye,” an official description for the character says. “He is an accomplished archer, has an affinity for animals, and is intensely curious about what lies beyond the confines of his forest home. After his mother’s death, Atreus is left with a cold, distant father who he barely knows and who knows little about him in return. Nonetheless, Atreus yearns for his father’s approval and is desperate to prove he is strong enough to survive in a harsh and dangerous world.”

Casting confirmation for Atreus marks an important moment for the God of War show, but Vinson is far from the first name to join the team. Hurst, who played Thor in 2022 video game sequel God of War Ragnarok, was first, with Amazon and Sony confirming he had joined as the Blades of Chaos-wielding Ghost of Sparta a little less than one month ago.

It was a bombshell for the game-turned-show that opened the floodgates with more announcements, as Teresa Palmer, Max Parker, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and Mandy Patinkin joined as Sif, Heimdall, Thor, and Odin, respectively, in the weeks that followed. The most recent additions saw Amazon bringing back Alastair Duncan as Mimir, while also adding newcomers Danny Woodburn as Brok and Jeff Gulka as Sindri.

Those who have played the Norse installments in the God of War franchise – which encompasses God of War (2018) and Ragnarok – will note that most major cast members are now locked in. Still, as the project’s cast seems to lean more on Ragnarok than its predecessor, there are plenty of other characters left in limbo. Freya and Baldur are two names crucial to developer Santa Monica Studios’ original story who have yet to be mentioned, for example, with fans also hoping to see Daredevil and True Blood star Deborah Ann Woll reprise her role as Faye.

HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter TV series appears to be doing things a little bit differently than the books — and some of the changes they’re making are probably going to be catnip for fans. Specifically, I’m referring to the decision to include more of the Malfoys, Harry’s school enemy’s family, and their home life.

“I think with this adaptation, you get to see so much more than the books," said Lox Pratt, the young actor who will be playing Draco Malfoy in the upcoming show, during a chat with 1883 Magazine. “[The books] are very much over Harry’s shoulder, which is great, and that’s how they played the film as well. And I think Francesca [Gardiner] and Mark [Mylod] have been audible about this in their interviews, there’s just so much more that you get to see.”

The actor also noted, “You get to see all the teachers in their little rooms. You get to see Draco at home. I won’t spoil too much about that, but there are some brilliant scenes at home where you start to get an insight into how he is.”

Last year, Harry Potter fans gained their first glimpse of John Lithgow as Dumbledore via a mysterious set of photos showing the long-bearded wizard on a beach. Other images showed Lithgow meeting actors apparently playing Nicolas Flamel and his wife, in what appeared to be scenes described in the book but not shown in detail. Not only was this a reveal of Lithgow himself, but of the fact the series will indeed include never-before-seen moments from the overall saga, with extra room for these due to its ability to spread each novel's events over a full TV season.

As for other big changes, the show plans to reintroduce History of Magic lessons with Richard Durden as Professor Binns. Plus, there is speculation that Lucius Malfoy, Draco’s father played by Johnny Flynn, is going to join the story in the first season of the show, which is earlier than his second installment introduction in the books and movies.

Gardiner will showrun the upcoming series and Mylod will direct. The series features several heavy hitters including John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, Paapa Essiedu, Nick Frost, and Bel Powley. As for the core three characters, Dominic McLaughlin will play Harry, Alastair Stout will play Ron, and Arabella Stanton will play Hermione.

The series is set to be released in early 2027.

The finale season of Stranger Things was something of a world-changing event in pop culture — but not everyone in the cast liked the direction the show went in season 5. In fact, star Matthew Modine recently opened up about his feelings on the ending of the series.

Modine — who played Dr. Martin Brenner, aka “Papa,” the scientist who trained and nurtured Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven beginning in season 1 — recently shared a video of himself on Instagram, and in the comments, a fan asked if he liked the series finale. “Nope,” he bluntly replied to the fan.

From there, he was asked by another viewer, “Does Papa believe in Stranger Things episode 9?” (If you’re thinking, wait, the season only had eight episodes, we’ll explain in just a second.) Modine’s response to the question clearly echoed his distaste for the episode: “Hoping so for the fans.”

So, about that ninth episode. In case you’re not aware, the "Conformity Gate" fan theory gained significant traction online last month as fans claimed that the show’s finale was not actually its finale, but a clever trick played by the Vecna itself. Unhappy with the show's actual ending, fans suggested another finale was on the way — something that was later shown to be nonsense.

Interestingly enough, Modine has been a vocal supporter of the theory for a little while now — and this isn’t his first time addressing it. At the end of January, the actor shared a clip of himself dressed in character with the caption, “Waiting.” It can be inferred that the actor is alluding to the wait for the secret ninth episode, and if so, unfortunately he’s still waiting even now.

The Duffer brothers, co-creators and showrunners of Stranger Things, have ruled a Stranger Things sequel out, saying making such a thing would come across as a “gross cash grab.” That said, more from the show's universe is already in the works — such as a live-action spin-off with new characters, and Stranger Things '85, an animated series showing further adventures with the gang while they were younger.

As the Seattle Seahawks took home the win at Super Bowl LX, movie fans were left with a smorgasbord of movie trailers for some of the biggest films of 2026.

Highlights from this year’s Big Game included sneak peeks at films like Disclosure Day, Scream 7, and Project Hail Mary, but the biggest surprise was probably Netflix’s first look at The Adventures of Cliff Booth. While Marvel was indeed a no-show this year, DC helped fill the superhero gap with a Puppy Bowl trailer for Supergirl.

Supergirl Trailer Sees Krypto Make Surprise Appearance for the Puppy Bowl

It doesn’t sound like Warner Bros. will show up for a commercial during The Big Game itself, but that didn’t stop DC from debuting a sneak peek at Supergirl for the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. The 47-second TV spot puts the spotlight on Kara Zor-El’s superpowered pup, Krypto, and what appears to be their final days on Krypton. In between shots of the canine companion, who made his DCU debut in 2025’s Superman, we get a glimpse at some of what will likely be the film’s many action scenes.

Hoppers Big Game Spot Shows More Animal Antics Ahead of March Release Date

Pixar’s Hoppers was one of the first movie trailers to show up for Super Bowl LX. Both of the film’s titular characters take centerstage for the teaser, which sees them using the force to trade off driving duties as they steer a group of tauntaun’s through the snow.

With gravelly voiceover from what sounds like A Star Is Born actor Sam Elliot, the trailer does a good job at feeling like car or beer commercial in a galaxy far, far away. It’s a somewhat tongue-in-cheek look at The Mandalorian and Grogu ahead of its May 22, 2026, theatrical release date.

The Adventures of Cliff Booth Gets Surprise Teaser from Netflix

The Adventures of Cliff Booth, David Fincher’s unexpected follow-up to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, made a surprise appearance at Super Bowl 2026. The trailer for the Netflix project featured a Brad Pitt with long hair and a moustache and a lot of censored scenes.

It’s a brief look at one of the most highly anticipated films that did little to spoil its story. For now, viewers have only been told that The Adventures of Cliff Booth is “coming soon.”

Minions & Monsters Trailer Shows Despicable Me Mascots on the Hunt for Beasts

The first trailer for Minions & Monsters shows everyone's favorite little yellow menaces as they search the world for ghouls and ghosts. The two-minute video focuses on what appears to be a mini-Cthulhu, who joins the Minions as they encounter mummies, bunnies, and slimes.

“This is the rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created,” an official description says.

Minions & Monsters arrives in theaters July 1, 2026.

Amazon and Sony have published the final trailer for Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s sci-fi epic, Project Hail Mary. Coming in at just under three minutes long, the full cut of the commercial sees Ryan Gosling’s Ryland Grace link up with Rocky, a small alien made of rocks who needs a little help communicating.

Universal Studios and Illumination may not have had too much more to share from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, but the Mario Movie sequel still had a few seconds of footage to share with fans online. The Big Game TV spot sees Yoshi and Toad rescue both Baby Mario and Baby Luigi from t-rex before telling fans to wait for its April 1, 2026, premiere. It’s a scene we’ve seen a glimpse of before, with today’s sneak peek adding a few new moments, including a shot of Mario drumming the Super Mario Bros. theme on the sleeping dinosaur’s teeth.

Pixar fans were hoping Hoppers would be joined by Toy Story 5 for the Super Bowl 2026 festivities, but Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Potato Head, and the rest of the gang spent the evening in Disney’s toychest – for the most part. While the animated movie icons are leaving audiences waiting for their June 19, 2026, release date, Woody found just a little bit of time to promote Levi’s jeans.

The clip comes in at a whopping four seconds long and is far from the full-on trailer many were expecting. Still, it serves as a (very) small reminder that the fifth Toy Story movie is still on the way.

If you’ve been keeping up with all things Tomb Raider TV series, we’ve got an exciting piece of news for you. Fans can catch the very first glimpse of Sophie Turner’s Lara Croft in action with a new video that has surfaced from the set of the show — and yes, she’s got her dual pistols on lock.

In the short clip, which has been posted to both YouTube and social media, Turner can be seen in costume walking through the woods. According to the upload of the video, the rainy footage was captured in Surrey, England. Turner is rocking a more weather-appropriate outfit (complete with what appears to be a tactical vest) in this clip than the standard shorts-and-tank-top look Croft is known for, but her two leg holsters remain present.

Amazon released their first official image of Turner as Croft on January 15, which exemplified the classic Lara Croft we’ve all come to know and love from the days of the original 1996 video game. The costume was era appropriate, down to the red glasses and double leg holsters. This short clip of Turner trudging through the woodsn — despite the fact that she’s not doing all that much in the particular scene they’re shooting — only doubles down on that notion.

Alongside Turner, the cast for the series — which will be written and showrun by creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge — is totally stacked. Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Bill Patterson, Martin Bobb-Semple, Jack Bannon, John Heffernan, Celia Imrie, Patterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, August Wittgenstein, and Juliette Motamed will appear in various canon roles and others crafted specifically for the show.

Tomb Raider cast:

The following cast are confirmed in canon roles from the Tomb Raider video game franchise:

• Martin Bobb-Semple is Zip. Zip is Lara Croft’s long-standing tech support and friend.
• Jason Isaacs is Atlas DeMornay. Atlas is Lara’s uncle.
• Bill Paterson is Winston. Winston is the long-standing Croft family butler.

The following cast are confirmed for roles to the Tomb Raider universe:

• Jack Bannon is Gerry. Gerry is Lara’s personal pilot and snack collector.
• John Heffernan is David. David is an exhausted government official who finds himself tangled up in Lara's unusual world.
• Celia Imrie is Francine. Francine is the Head of Advancement at the British Museum, focused solely on raising funds and glasses of champagne.
• Paterson Joseph is Thomas Warner. Thomas Warner is a senior government official brought in to clean up an almighty mess.
• Sasha Luss is Sasha. Sasha is a fierce, deeply competitive new adversary of Lara’s.
• Juliette Motamed is Georgia. Georgia is a devoted, by-the-books curator at the British Museum, dedicated to the ‘proper’ preservation of history.
• Sigourney Weaver is Evelyn Wallis. A mysterious, high-flying woman who is keen to exploit Lara's talents.
• August Wittgenstein is Lukas. Lukas is an illegal raider who shares history with Lara in more ways than one.

Despite the fact that they’re clearly in production on the series, we still have yet to get an official release date from Prime. Hopefully fans will get word on when to expect this series in the coming months. We did get confirmation, however, of two new Tomb Raider video games at December's The Game Awards. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a reimagining of the first game in the series, is due out at some point in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam. And the brand new game Tomb Raider: Catalyst is due out at some point in 2027. Alix Wilton Regan will now play Lara Croft in both games, replacing Camilla Luddington, who portrayed Lara Croft in the Survivor Trilogy.

This review contains full spoilers for this week’s episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

“Are there no true knights among you?!” Dunk bellows at the assembled nobles late in this week’s episode, titled “Seven.” With the last-minute arrival of Prince Baelor Targaryen, who will fight on Dunk’s side against his own kin, Dunk would seem to have his answer. And, boy, does he sure need the help.

“Seven” is the gloomiest, literally and figuratively, episode so far, with the colorful palette of the previous episodes replaced by a muddy, grim aesthetic. And with the exception of one brief exchange between Dunk and Raymun Fossoway, there’s none of the playful banter or humor that’s been a highlight of the previous episodes.

That’s because “Seven” is what would be considered Plot Point 2 in a movie script, the part of the story close to the end where the hero is at his lowest point and with seemingly no way out of the jam he’s in. (Next week is the second-to-last episode of the season.)

Dunk must confront his fate after coming to Tanselle’s rescue in Episode 3 and beating up Aerion. The reasonable Baelor understands why Dunk did what he did, but he still assaulted a Targaryen prince so he must face some punishment (Baelor has already prevented Dunk from simply being executed).

Baelor reads Dunk his rights, if you will, and the latter faces Aerion, Maekar, and their lords to demand a trial by combat. But, of course, Aerion finds a way to weasel around it by calling for a trial of seven, an ancient custom where each side enlists seven knights to fight each other and the gods will decide who wins. (Even Maekar thinks his son is just trying to wuss out of fighting Dunk one-on-one by employing this tactic.)

Unfortunately, Dunk doesn’t know enough knights, let alone six good ones, willing to help him. Eventually, thanks to Egg, he assembles six knights – we should’ve known it was too good to be true that Ser Steffon Fossoway would keep his word! – and it’s not until Baelor’s arrival that a trial of seven can commence. Bertie Carvel instills in Baelor a kind but firm authority and a compassion and honor missing from many other Targaryens.

Another big highlight of “Seven” is seeing Egg in his full Prince Aegon regalia. The opening scene where Egg apologizes to Dunk for deceiving him is moving, especially when Egg tears up as Dunk scolds him. He was just a kid who wanted to go to the tourney so badly that he hatched a half-assed scheme to be anyone’s squire after his drunken brother Daeron decided to sit it out.

Speaking of Daeron, the one gift he does seem to possess beyond his capacity for alcohol consumption is prophetic dreams. He’s dreamt of Ser Duncan the Tall with a slain dragon, which adds an additional layer of morbid curiosity to the fortune teller’s grim prophecy about Egg’s future in Episode 3.

Other observations:

• Egg’s horrifying story about Aerion threatening to castrate him so then he’d have a sister he could marry. Those freakin’ Targaryens, man.
• Dunk’s vision of Ser Arlan shrugging was hilarious.
• Tanselle – who did a fine job repainting the sigil on Dunk’s shield – has fled, so there goes Dunk’s one romantic hope.
• Animal lover Dunk petting the mouse in his cell window and later talking to his horses.
• Aerion demeaning a nobleman by making him climb under the table to fetch his walnut.
• It was nice to see armorer Steely Pate have another good scene with Dunk.
• Ser Lyonel knighting Raymun Fossoway. Congrats on your promotion, Raymun!
• That big jerk who humiliated Dunk before the nobles by farting.
• Daeron knows he’s a coward who will end up in a hell without wine for lying to Maekar that Dunk kidnapped Egg.
• The Game of Thrones theme kicking in at the very end. Let’s gooooo!
