Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 Review</a></h3> Reviewed by Joshua Yehl on April 18, 2025. <br><br><b>Verdict</b><br><br>While Daredevil: Born Again doesn’t quite reach the heights of the original Netflix show it picks up the torch from, it does succeed where it matters most. We’ve got Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio delivering masterful performances, facing off like never before as Matt Murdock, attorney at law, and Mayor Fisk. From this twist spawns a dangerous and exciting story about the rise of a publicly endorsed tyrant whose meaty fist is slowly closing around New York City, and it’s up to one hopelessly handsome blind lawyer to stop him. It doesn’t entirely justify leaving the red suit in the closet for half of the season (or a couple of instances of shoddy CGI when it’s brought out), and more than a few characters are woefully underdeveloped, but it does right itself before the end by finishing off with a pair of stunning episodes. It’s chock full of awesome moments, from a truly epic team-up with the Punisher to a shocking display of violence from Mayor Fisk. Daredevil: Born Again Episode 8 Review</a></h3> Reviewed by Joshua Yehl on April 8, 2025. <br><br><b>Verdict</b><br><br>A pulse-pounding episode that has one fantastic moment after another as Matt Murdock is pitted against his two greatest nemeses not as Daredevil but as blind lawyer and public defender. Big revelations and intense confrontations are finally had, making for a supremely satisfying chapter that pays off what was set up in the very beginning of Daredevil: Born Again. Daredevil: Born Again Episode 7 Review</a></h3> Reviewed by Joshua Yehl on April 1, 2025. <br><br><b>Verdict</b><br><br>Daredevil is back in action tracking down serial killer supervillains and it feels so good. There’s some really interesting thematic stuff going on in the seventh episode of Daredevil: Born Again, as both Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk’s dual lives begin to intertwine in a tense and exciting way. There’s no going back for these two now. Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 and 6 Review</a></h3> Reviewed by Joshua Yehl on March 25, 2025. <br><br><b>Verdict</b><br><br>Daredevil returns to form with a pair of superb episodes that show precisely what makes the character tick, whether he’s a civilian or a costumed crusader. The bank-robbery episode is an unexpected delight full of creative storytelling and fresh ideas. The wait for Daredevil to show up again has been a long one, but I dare say it was all worth it. Daredevil: Born Again Episode 4 Review</a></h3> Reviewed by Joshua Yehl on March 18, 2025. <br><br><b>Verdict</b><br><br>Daredevil’s extended absence for almost four episodes has become a point of frustration, but at least this episode is filled with compelling motivation on multiple fronts for Murdock to finally suit up again.
